What do Ship ESP, Cannon ESP and Harpoon ESP mean in Sea of Thieves?

I was browsing a Sea of Thieves feature menu and noticed Ship ESP, Cannon ESP and Harpoon ESP listed separately.

I get that they're all ship-related, but I'm not sure what the actual distinction is supposed to be.

Does Ship ESP refer to the vessel itself while cannon and harpoon options are separate object categories?

Not looking for a sales pitch. Just trying to understand the feature names.

That's how I'd interpret the categories, yeah. Ship information versus individual equipment indicators.

The product listing does separate those three, so they're not just one heading repeated three times.

Do they all show the same type of information?

The public feature list doesn't explain every behavior in enough detail to make that claim.

I'd avoid assuming they all display the same data.

Good answer tbh. Product pages tend to use very short labels.

For reference, the current ZADEYO listing includes Ship ESP, Cannon ESP and Harpoon ESP as separate options. It also lists island and sea ESP separately. (Product listing)

Nice, that confirms what I saw.

I think the distinction matters when you compare feature lists. A product advertising ship markers doesn't automatically mean it has separate cannon or harpoon functionality.

Exactly. Read the actual list instead of assuming every feature is included.

That's probably the lesson here. The names are similar, but I shouldn't infer the exact implementation from the label alone.

Yep. If the details aren't documented, ask the provider before paying.
