Sea of Thieves aimbot settings explained, what do FOV and smoothness mean?

Can someone translate these aimbot settings into normal language?

FOV, smoothness, player lock, bones, maximum distance.

I understand some of the terms from other shooters, but Sea of Thieves isn't exactly the same type of game as a typical arena FPS.

Does the current product page explain how these options differ, or is it mostly just a list of names?

FOV usually refers to the area considered around the crosshair. Smoothness refers to how gradually the aim changes. Exact behavior depends on the implementation.

That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure the terms were being used normally.

Player Lock is the one I'd want better documentation for. It can mean different things in different products.

The current ZADEYO product listing names Player Lock, Bones with Head, Neck, Body and Pelvis, Draw FOV, FOV Size, Smoothness and Max Distance. (Product listing)

So the feature list confirms the available options, but not every detail of how each one behaves.

Right. The label alone doesn't tell you every implementation detail.

I wish more product pages had a glossary. Would save everyone a lot of guessing.

Especially for settings that use similar terminology but different scales.

And the bone selection just refers to which part of the character model is selected?

That's generally what the term means. Check the actual product documentation for the exact choices and behavior.

The product lists four target areas, so at least that part is clear.

Thanks. This is much better than trying to decode a screenshot with 30 sliders in it.
